Volunteering at the Womxn’s Center:

Call or email the Womxn's Center (WC) at women@ucsc.edu or (831) 459-2072 to speak to a Lead Intern regarding how to get involved and set-up an introductory interview. Please consider your time commitment and projects you are interested in participating. Volunteer opportunities are an as needed basis throughout the academic school year. We have a high need for volunteers during annual programming and smaller events/programs.

Short Term Involvement

Womxn's Center opportunities are available on a project-to-project basis. If you are interested in getting more involved and volunteering, please email women@ucsc.edu to receive a volunteer form to fill. 

  • Event Support

    Help setup, clean up, and support Womxn's Center team and event coordinators to execute the event/program/project. 

  • Office Work

    Front desk support and administrative support, such as filling, organizing and center chores.

  • Flyer/Publicity Distribution

    Flyer on Monday at campus bus stops; colleges, libraries, and organize mailings to campus units.

  • Tabling Staffer

    Set up table with WC info; answer questions about WC events and programs questions; sign-up people for e-Newsletter and meet new people!
